an old friend-ish posted this last night. i found some of his responses very interesting since i figured most people were going to follow with the pro independent lifestyle like i use to.

"so i was thinking, the marriage rate is like 50/50 right? if i said there was a 50/50 chance your plane was going to crash would you get aboard?"

yes, but divorce is not death and a good marriage is mountains above a successful plane ride.

taking chances means you are living life.

i think the benefits outweigh the risks here, my friend. marriage is unlike any other experience you'll have in this life, and if you put in the work, it can be amazing.

statistics don't have power to keep me from getting what I want.
